Pendleton Blanket - Raven and the Box of Knowledge

A blanket with a story to tell, the Raven Story design is based on the work of artist Preston Singletary. The imagery depicts Raven, the shape-shifter and trickster of legend, who steals the sun, moon, and stars from the old chief at the head of the Nass River and releases them into the sky. The sun, held in Raven’s mouth, symbolizes enlightenment and knowledge. The ombré background converges at the center in vibrant shades of sun and light, bringing the legend to life in woven form.
